Viter is more than just a coffee shop; it is a space where the true spirit of coffee culture comes to life. Having started its journey in 2015, the brand took a step towards expansion in 2023, choosing the franchise model.

The concept of Viter coffee shops centres on high-quality coffee, transparency of its origin, and the art of making. This approach aims to offer guests not just a drink, but a genuine coffee experience.

These are not typical coffee shops, but places for like-minded individuals – those who appreciate quality coffee, atmosphere and meaningful conversations. The cafés host themed events, movie nights, and gatherings that foster a sense of community and bring together coffee lovers.

Our main goal was to package the franchise effectively to establish a network of coffee shops in Ukraine and later expand internationally. At the same time, it was crucial to maintain high product quality and the uniqueness of the concept.It was decided to refine the concept.

Viter became synonymous with a place where like-minded individuals could connect, share ideas, and engage in regular stand-up sessions or movie nights.

Results

A month before the official launch of franchise sales, Viter signed agreements to open five new coffee shops.

The brand’s team prioritizes quality over quantity, focusing on long-term growth and collaboration with like-minded partners. The goal is not just to open new locations but to find franchisees who share the brand’s values and aspire to grow together. The expansion is gradual, with the network welcoming over 8,000 visitors each month.

In mid-2024, the team made a strategically important decision to move to a management franchise model.

  • A marketing audit was conducted, and it led to the creation of a unique franchise concept that brings analytical insights to life. As a result, we developed a second "to-go" format, which never existed before.
  • A financial model was estimated, and is now actively used in both sales and ongoing operations.
  • The opening process was standardized, thereby significantly reducing the team’s involvement in new store launches.
  • A legal package of agreements for signing with potential partners, which is now actively used in franchise operations, was prepared.
  • A franchise sales communication strategy, which became the foundation of the broader marketing strategy, was developed.
  • We created and launched a website to attract potential franchise partners.
  • We boosted brand recognition through a franchise catalogue and an article interview on the MOST Franchising blog.

The company has acquired essential tools and materials for scaling-up through franchising and is now actively expanding its network.
